George Coetzee certainly kept the home fires burning in South Africa at the weekend with a magnificent second European Tour win.
Backed by a legion of Pretoria Country Club fellow members, George carded a finishing five-under 65 to claim the title by one shot - prompting a huge celebration with family and friends.
It was George's second Tour win on home soil, but it definitely won't be his last - both there and elsewhere because my money's on him to become a worldwide force for years to come.
David Horsey had an excellent week and was alongside George at the top of the leaderboard after three rounds while Gregory Bourdy was another ISM client to finish in the top 10.
Just a little further down the list was Darren Clarke showing a very welcome return to form while Matt Fitzpatrick also found a spark in the South African capital to share 15th place with him.
It's a very good learning time for Tour School graduate Matt and like several of his other, young ISM colleagues will have benefited from playing practice rounds in SA with the Ryder Cup captain.
Darren enjoys playing with and passing on his knowledge to the youngsters and has been a great role model for all our up-and-coming stars. I really appreciate what he does for them.
Over in America, Lee Westwood recorded another top 20 at the Valspar in Tampa and will be heading towards Augusta soon with a fine head of form behind him. Hopefully 2015 will be his best season to date.
Chesson Hadley continues to impress in America and it won't be long before he increases his worldwide profile through his efforts on the course.
All in all, I'm very happy with the progress our players are making and it bodes well for those making their way down Magnolia Lane very soon. It's nearly time to join the green party. Can't wait.... » More
