The only way is up for several of our players these days and particularly Danny Willett.
While Lee Westwood and Louis Oosthuizen moved up four and three places respectively in the world rankings thanks to their sterling efforts at the WGC Cadillac Match Play, Danny reached an all-time high of 38th...and he\'s heading higher, much higher.
Finishing third, losing only one match of the seven he played, was an an excellent effort considering it was Danny\'s first appearance in the Match Play.
An even bigger consolation for Danny was that the money he earned gave him temporary membership of the PGA Tour and he is now very close to earning a full card for next season.
But I\'m sure Danny is going to be a big presence all around the world and not just America for many years to come.
Lee and Louis also had 3-0 records heading into the knockout rounds while both Joost Luiten and George Coetzee narrowly failed to progress from the round robin stage although winning two of their three matches.
Danny, Lee, Louis, as well as Darren Clarke, Joost Luiten, Chesson Hadley and Seung-Yul Noh, now head to the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.
Well done to Rhys Enoch for his top ten at the Zambia Sugar Open and I\'m sure there will be many more to come.
