Lee travelled straight to Bangkok from the event in Dubai, for the inaugural Thailand Golf Championship (sanctioned by the Asian Tour), which takes place at Amata Spring Country Club from the 15th - 18th December.
Lee attended the charity auction on Tuesday evening to raise funds for the Thailand Flood Relief, where more than €60,000 was raised.
He had a 12.15 start (local time ) with Thongchai Jaidee and Ryo Ishikawa, and had a fabulous opening round, with five birdies and an eagle on the outward nine and five birdies on the way home. His 12-under 60 earned him the top spot on the first day, five strokes ahead of nearest rival, John Daly.
"Well not sure where to start! Shot 60 ! Don't need to say much else!", he later tweeted, and following on from Thursday's success, Lee now has homorary membership.
He had a 7.50 tee-time with Ryo Ishikawa on Friday (Jaidee retired after 18 holes) and produced another top class round of 64. He is now 20 under after two rounds and eleven shots in the lead!
"Arguably a better round this morning than yesterday in windy conditions! 64 to add to yesterday's 60. For sure the best I've ever played.-20", he tweeted.
Charl Schwartzel and Michael H Thompson joined Lee for the third round, with an 11.30 start. He was 1-over for the day and Charl Schwartzel was only four shots behind!
22-under, following a final round of 69 and Lee is the Thailand Golf Champion of 2011. He also moves up to second place in World Ranking. It was an exciting final round. Schwartzel got within two shots by the 12th but Lee matched his birdie, and by 13 had a four stroke lead, eventually winning by seven shots (his 37th win).
2011 has been a good year for Lee with 4 wins; he was World Number 1 for 13 weeks (January - May); finished 5th in the Race to Dubai (2.1 million) and ends the year as World Number 2.
Lee will spend the Christmas break with his family, followed by a holiday in the sun. Then it's off to Dubai on the 17th January, then Abu Dhabi for his first event of 2012 on the European Tour.
