Lee returns to Doha Golf Club in the second of his Desert Swing events.  Lee missed the cut here last year, but finished  tied 3rd in 2010.

He joins Thomas Bjorn and Jason Day for the first two rounds, with tee-times of 11.50 (8.50 UK) from the 1st on Thursday and 7.30 (4.30 UK) from the 10th on Friday.

Lee was one-under on the outward nine and had a chance for an eagle at the last, when his second finished a few feet from the pin.  Sadly he wasn't able to take advantage and finished the day with a 1-under 71. He later tweeted, "71 felt like a good score. Left a few out there but have a very smooth completion on the plus side! Sandblasted !"

Windy weather continued for the second day's play and Lee completed the 15th hole when play was suspended until Saturday.  He had opened with a birdie at the 10th but double-bogeyed 12, and bogeyed 14, ending the day on +1.  He will finish his round on Saturday, when there will be an 8.45 restart.  The tournament has been reduced to 54 holes.

Lee completed his second round with two birdies, a bogey and an eagle at the 1st (70).  Now 3-under for the event, he is safely through to the final round.

Recording a final round 69 and 6-under for the event,  Lee finished T12th and earned €27,542 in prize money. He is now 37th in the Race to Dubai with €57,736, and remains third in WR.

Paul Lawrie won the title on 15-under par.
