Following a holiday with his family in his Oceanico property in Portugal, and the Winner's Day (Lee Westwood Golf Academy) at Lindrick GC on the 31st, Lee returns to the European Tour for the Omega European Masters at Crans-sur-Sierre, an event he won in 1999.

He had a 13.20 (GMT+2) tee-time from the 1st on Thursday, with Jeev Mikha Singh and Rory McIlroy, which resulted in a round of 71(par) and T78th place. With an 8.20 start from the 10th on Friday, Lee shot a 4-under par , 67 and finished T30th for the day.

Lee joined David Lynn and Rory Mcilroy for a 9.50 start on Saturday and though he carded a good opening nine of (three-under) 33, he had a miserable back nine with a bogey at 11 and four bogeys in the last five holes, settling for a 73 and T53rd place.

There was a much improved performance on Sunday, when he carded a final round of 66 (277 and 5-under par).  With an 8.25 start with Danny Lee and Mads Vibe-Hastrup, he made three birdies and a bogey on the front-nine (34), bogeyed 11 and shot two birdies and an eagle in the last five holes.

7-under par earned Lee T23rd place on the leaderboard with €19,900 in prize money. He is now in 4th place in the Race to Dubai with €1,637,452 and 10th in World Ranking.
