DP World Tour Championship

Lee arrived in Dubai for the DP World Tour Championship which he won in it's inaugural year as Dubai World Championship in 2009.  Lee has had some top ten finishes in the event since then, T3rd in 2010  and T5th in 2013. He is currently 25th in the Race to Dubai with € 1,205,441 after playing in 14 events.

Taking place at Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai, UAE,  Lee had a 10.25 tee-time from the 1st with Danny Willett in this 72 hole stroke-play event with no cut.

Lee got off to a good start with a 2-under 72 which included an eagle at the 7th, to lie in T12th place on the leaderboard.  He joined George Coetzee for an 11.30 (GMT +4) start on Friday and had a bit of a mixed bag with 5 birdies and 4 bogeys, to sign for a 1-under 71. Now three-under for the event he lies in T23rd place

Lee had a 10.35 tee-time with Marcel Siem on Saturday and signed for a 2-over 74 in T47th place. He has a 7.50 Sunday tee-time with Oliver Fisher.

Two bogeys and a birdie on the front nine and three birdies and a bogey on the way home, saw Lee sign for a 1-under 71. His 2-under final score (286) left him T48th on the leaderboard, earning €49,470 in prize money.

Henrik Stenson retained the title.
